2. Which is the part people keep missing.

The 'all' part. Everything. They've been building this system for something like 20 years with pretty much unlimited funds. It is one heck of a database system. In addition to searching for keywords the system documents who communictates with who and when they did so.

The question is not who did they eavesdrop on, the question is who had access to the data and what did they do with that access?

4. the M$M helps cover it up by talking about 'TARGETING' & TERRORIST

suspects but if they are listening to everyone that means we are all terrorist suspects according to our laws.

data-mining also uses behavior analysis and fuzzy-logic as well to help shorten the list of 300 million suspects in the USofA.
