4. I must say
This year more and more people, even those at work are saying Merry Christmas without fear. A few days after Thanksgiving I was in stop n shop and as I was checking my bags out the cashier said Happy Holidays to me. I looked at her and said Merry Christmas and as I started walking by her, she whispered to me with a smile "Merry Christmas to you too". That was at the end of November and as we approach Christmas Eve everywhere I go I hear Merry Christmas.

Something has definitly changed this year. I don't know who is responsible for it nor do I care. I see Nativity set ups where there once was none, and if my feelings make my stay here short then I have only one thing to say, Merry Christmas to you all! May you find peace and happiness within yourself.

5. I'm sorry; and where exactly is it that you live/work where
people are "afraid" to say "Merry Christmas?"

Because here on earth where I live, people tend to not give it much thought either way.
"Happy Holidays" is just a way of being polite, you know? Like, seasonal
"Have a Nice Day?" As in, some of us celebrate holidays around now that aren't Christmas?
As in, we exist, also? As in, either way it's really not that big a fucking deal?
As in, the protracted "religiously correct" whiningis a terrific way to take attention away from the issues
that your supposed Lord and Savior might be a tad more interested in? like, war, poverty, the creation of completely
unnecessary misery and suffering by the greedy whited sepulchres currently in office? As
in, maybe you might want to give some more thought to how those cashiers who
serve you earn their living than whether they have to tell you, just you,
exactly what you want to hear along with the service-with-a-smile?

I mean, what next? The War To Put the God back in "Bless You?" Damn those
"War On Sneezing" people!

Or is this meant to be deadpan irony? It's really hard for me to tell these days, I admit it.

7. I work for the number one bank in the country
and in prior years at the end of our meetings (this time of year) it was always happy holidays and I would be the only voice who would answer back with Merry Christmas. This year every colleague that I talked with ALL wished me a Merry Christmas. From my Hindu colleagues, my Muslim colleagues even my atheist colleague. I was beaming. At our last meeting my boss wished us all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Years prior it would have just been Happy Holidays.

I must ask
who in the world is taking attention away from issues like war, poverty or hatred. All year long we should be giving to the poor, loving our neighbor ending this war. Christmas is a time for giving and loving. We dont' take attention away from the above we give it more attention this time of year.

And just one quick question when did we take God out of "Bless You?
