Iraqis riot over gas price increases

Mike Malloy, sitting in for Randi, just said that Iraqis are rioting over 300% increase in gas prices. I didn't hear his source and can't find any links on the web or postings here at DU. Did anyone else hear about this?

1. I missed that. Iraqis pay very little for gas compared to us but
a 300% price increase could be devestating no matter what you were paying per gallon prior to the price increase.

I think Iraqis only pay 10 cents or 25 cents per gallon for gas.

Looks like Wolfowitz is busy "It (Iraq) is under pressure from the World Bank to cut subsidies which keep prices down."
