Just thought I'd run that up the flagpole and see who saluted it. I mean I realize that Hispanic culture in the Western hemisphere is capable of producing its own jackbooted thugs and enthusiasts for order and socioeconomic stratification just like Anglos, but does our own attorney general have to be one of those ? I wonder if he's emulating Major "Bob" Roberto D'Aubuisson or someone like that, there are certainly enough retreads from Raygun's Central America shop in the current administration that he'd have a ready source of eyewitness accounts to build up a profile he could work from. Can't he find a more positive role model to work with though ?

I lived in Honduras in 1981 and the only families who could leave and had enough money to go the US, buy a house and send their kids to Ivy League schools, were linked to the military goernment. So, that would make them "not Liberal"!
