4. You know, I've often heard that, and speaking only a smattering

of German I can't judge, but listening to the inflections and tone of his speeches I sort of doubt it. In the speeches I have heard, there was a lot of theatricality and bombast, but little of the persuasion and seduction that a good speaker uses to convince.

I have to wonder if "Hitler was a great speaker" was an idea promulgated by the same sorts who say that * is a great speaker.
