I'm not hoping too much but I hope so. I'm listening to him now. I adore Harry. I love how he's soft spoken but tough.

14. If PA goes down, it's the President's fault!
 !!!!

Putting the blame squarely where it belongs! Says all the President has to do is pick up the phone to the Majority Leader and go with the 3 month extension until it can be worked out in a bi-partisan way.

27. It is Reid's fault...
He refused to let a bad piece of legislation remain a law. It needs to be fixed.

Go Harry!

23. I Don't Understand What's Going On
He wants, and we want an extension to the existing patriot act while the modified patriot act is being further considered.

Is the question on the floor only the 3 month extension?

29. Kyl (R) Arizona suggests option of extending for one year.
Durbin says that would just allow congress to postpone it again until the last 30 days or so.

Arguments now going on about this concept.

32. Durbin is correct ......
I always use the the philosophy of "The job expands to the time alloted" give it three months and you get busy. Give it a year and everyone forgets about it, put it on the back burner. Deadlines are a good thing sometimes. Peace. :)

31. I guess they are negotiating the length of an extension.
Kyl wants 1 yr. I say not one second longer. Scrap it and do it over. Particularly given the current overreach of Mad George.
