  • Bush to hold press conference at 10:30 a.m. ET - Unexpected announcement follows his speech to nation SundayMSNBC – msn.com

    another link:

  • 10:30 Live White House Press Conference - Webcast Link

  • 10:30 Live White House Press Conference

I asked this in the LBN on the thread talking about this and have not received a response.

If they turn & lose with the press then this could be quite interesting.

    3. Usually a press conference means questions
But getting answers is a different kettle of fish.

    6. LOL... I'm glad you said "usually"
Because we all know that Bushworld has its own set of definitions for everything.

I anticipate this one: "A press conference need not have questions. A press conference need not have press. A press conference is what the president defines it to be. It may be as simple as the president dictating a few key phrases from his bicycle..."

    5. Does this bastard ever get off the TV??
Sunday morning (or was it Saturday morning?)... Sunday night... and now Monday morning...

Methinks he doth protest too much.

He knows what we're thinking, and he can't stop trying to justify himself. Keep talkin', Dictator-Boy. You've already publicly admitted to a high crime. Keep talkin' till we can finally have you dragged off to where you belong: a cell in the supermax.

    9. I wonder if he knows that every time he refers to Iraq's former "brutal
dictator", there are some people who see irony in his use of that phrase?

    8. "The Iraqis once were under a brutal dictator..."
we have solved this problem... we have moved the brutal dictator to America....

5 or 10 years from now, someone will have to invade the United States to bring its people "freedom and democracy".

    12. Militia groups? Ain't got no stinkin' militia groups! Took care of that
    by the OKC bombing!

(Oops... did I say "by" the OKC bombing? Why, of course, I meant "because" of the OKC bombing! We--our gubmint--took care of those bad militia groups AFTER the OKC bombing! Not BY the OKC bombing, 'kay?)

    11. Bwaaaaaaahaha! He said it again: "Democracies are peaceful"
"We want democracy in Iraq because democracies are peaceful... they don't go around starting wars all the time." (Paraphrase)

Ah, the irony. The sweet irony--as I sit here in our "peaceful democracy".

Oh, and another beaut: (paraphrasing again) "It was the right decision to remove Saddam Hussein... he had secret prisons where people were tortured!"

    BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
