Has anyone noticed the gas prices?
The gas prices were fixed low at the beginning of shopping season.
People breathed a sigh of relief and started shopping.
Now that shopping is almost done, I see the gas prices creeping back up.
Very slowly, but increasing at least .01-.02 a day for the last week.
So by the time Christmas travel starts, the gas prices will be back up and everyone (except the consumer) is a winner.
The retail merchants made their money at the beginning of the month and the gas folks will make their money at the end.
I have a kerosene heater to help defray my electric bill.
I have been paying $3.00 a gallon for kerosene. I ran out and was going to get some yesterday and it has jumped to $7.00 a gallon.
That is in the last 3-4 days.
Hold on folks...ride is gonna get bumpy.

1. I noticed that also. A low of $2.07 and now back to $2.17. Oil Co.'s
must think no one is looking.

3. These prices won't bode well, especially when
people get their heating bills. Bumpy, indeed. And grouchy, and downright pissed off!

4. they went down when they trotted those oil execs out for hearings
once those slimy f***ers realized what a joke the hearings were, and that they would not be held accountable - guess what? The prices creep back up.

6. It's really cold here in the Midwest
and we prefer to stay warm so we heat our houses. But wait! The price of heating oil is skyrocketing too. I normally don't buy into conspiracy theories, but this is obviously blatant price gouging. I wonder if any oil company execs are cutting corners in heating their mansions? Somehow I doubt it. In fact, they are probably on some tropical beach somewhere spending our money.

8. Not the scenario in Mid Mo
Gas prices have been creeping up since Thanksgiving. They dropped down to $1.89 right before the holiday, but have been creeping up ever since. After all, we can't forget it is the "holiday driving season". And they're going to do nothing but continue to go up.

9. Crap
We use a kerosene heater in the family room every day and I'll be seriously upset if it gets that high here. I wonder why it would've more than doubled?

10. In the business section of our Sunday newspaper,
there was an article about the likelihood of gas prices spiking immediately after the holiday season.

15. $7 a gallon for kerosene?! Good Lord that's what I use to heat the trailer
Although I use an electric heater to defray the cost of the oil bill. (weird how we're doing just the opposite of each other. *l*)

16. My electric bill is what keeps going down
The local news said electricity was supposed to increase 5% but my bill has gone way down since September. I'm sure they'll figure out a way to screw us there too. :(

18. Wait until this summer
The electric co. will get theirs then. When it gets hot and stinking humid people will kick on the AC, and the elec co. will laugh all the way to the bank.

17. I called three different places yesterday
And that was the going rate.
I'm gonna call another place or two today to see if I can find it cheaper.
There isn't any way I will pay $7 a gallon since it uses a gallon a day to run the heater.
I'll do something else.

19. Our prices went up a bit last week, and are down a little this morning
Last week was $2.17-2.30 a gallon, this week it's 2.07-2.20

My guess is that it will go up a little again right before the weekend, to cash in on the holiday travel.

20. I said this weeks ago, it's because we are no longer buying...
oil from Europe's Strategic Oil Reserves.
They were selling to us while moron* and his room full of dopes were trying to find their asses with both hands regarding Katrina. Well lo and behold, Europe stopped selling it to us about 2 1/2 weeks ago and I said then as I will say now, it's going to be a bumpy ride this winter as you see prices creeping back up. And sure enough, here we go.

I maintain, this will be the undoing of moron*. the sheople will keep their heads in the ground over just about everything, but when gas goes up, then they can't drive their giant ass train car sized family urban assault vehicles any longer, then they will get pissed like they did only a month and a half ago.

this will be the winter of morons* discontent. mark my words

colossal racist oil drinking failure*.
