fireworks on C-SPAN ,,,,House members wary of the defense
appro. bill. many amendments added late, one by Frist telling the House leader to put this
language in the bill, another drug companies seek to limit or deny your right to sue if a batch of vaccine goes bad and harms thousands. The fact that these are "late night back door dirty deals" are happening is appalling. GOP-Burton actually read the last minute drug protection bill limiting how much you can sue for and denounces it as well as berates the sponsor. Drama tonight.. check it out if you can.

5. How many times does it make this year
that they have passed these horrendous measures in the darkness of night?

6. I think it sucks that they have to be out there talking
at 3:17am EST. The House opened at 9am. I've noticed these late night sessions more and more with the sneaky Republicans trying to jam stuff through without anyone getting to see it first.

9. Give'em Hell Harry
caught Harry giving 'em hell last night while channel surfing...

unfortunately, I tuned in near the end of his speech and missed the "issue" -- filling in the blanks, I think he was upset by some back-door shenanigans regarding debate time limits?

anyone catch it? fill me in?
