9. He doesn't care what people think, feel, go through, how they live
Nothing...

We aren't even on his radar screen. We may as well be the chair in the corner - and truth is, he probaly has regard for the chair....but not for people.

2. You are correct, and it's horrific. It's all about him and war, not
Americans, the suffering going on because of Katrina, the subjugation of Americans.
Hugs to you, TUU!

4. So sad
I feel for them .Why wouldn't the President ? I couldn't imagine not mentioning this in a national prime time speech especially at this time of the year.

What an embarrassment we have representing us.

8. His handlers don't want to bring that
embarrassment up. You can bet if it would benefit him, Katrina and aftermath would be front and center. His handlers? I write that alot; it really pisses me off that this man is so un-authentic, so easily manipulated, I have no idea what kind of man this is, except uninterested.
He does not have a heart, at all, IMO.

5. Don't worry.
He'll have families from NOLA, Mississippi and Alabama at his SOTU address and pretend the government helped everyone so well.

Nothing about his treasonous violations of the Fourth Amendment, either.

Chimpeachment Now!

12. We can't count on him to do ANYTHING for the people in the Gulf Coast.
Edited on Mon Dec-19-05 02:50 PM by fooj
We've got to do it ourselves. We've got a forum to launch anything we need to right here on DU! We need to get our Democratic leaders to step in and take charge. Howard Dean could get a committee together to go down and find out when and how things can be done in order to help these people. WTF? Only WE, THE PEOPLE, have the power, strength and conviction to do what's right for the Americans that are hurting so badly in the Gulf Coast. Shrub doesn't give a rat's ass about Americans in need. He doesn't give a rat's ass about America. Period.

Peace.
