16. My Opinion as someone who is not American but 'IS' by accent

People who don't like Americans because 'they are Americans' are as ignorant as the minority of Americans who create the stereotype that causes the prejudicial ignorance.

As a Dutch Canadian I have spent most of my life being taken for an American because of my accent and - I never hung a flag off my backpack when overseas or jumped to the I AM CANADIAN defense. If people did not like me because they thought I was a Yank... I would not have anything to do with them. Period. They are ignorant.
