I knew Rove was evil, I just had no idea how far back it went. I was a kid in the 80s when the scandals were going on in Texas politics, and I remember hearing about them. Reading this book turns my stomach. So many people know that he does what he does, but yet, he continues to get away with it.

1. Have you seen the documentary based on the book?

It's interesting seeing it after reading since they interview people in the book. Amazing how deep the feelings go towards Rove so many years later.

2. I've caught bits and pieces of it

on FSTV, but I've never seen the whole thing. I find that I can only read the book for a short time, then I have to put it down and take a break. As a Native Texan, I had no idea what he was doing back then, and now that I know, I am livid.

7. I couldn't put it down

I'm a slow reader but read it in two sittings. Since the writers are journalists, I think they captured my attention. And yes, Rove is pretty disgusting.

I just experience extreme nausea if I read it for too long. The very thought that people knew he was behind these things, but nothing was ever done about it...
