So many causes that need action! What a despicable species humans are with our "we are the pinnacle of creation" attitude. Being the pinnacle should include behaving at a higher standard, but no, not us. We are happy to claim pinnacle status while behaving at sludge status. :puke:

5. I've done alot for that site

Hello Everyone, I belong to that website www.defendenvironment.org it's a cool website i first heard about it on our local liberal radio station 1310 WDTW AM during the commercials. And i've been a member ever since, they have had some success as of late like the time when they made cutting the dorsal fins off of sharks illegal. And so i've signed all the petitions on that site (at least until some new ones come out) and i've forwarded them onto my family and friends and my girlfriend Jill. And every month i donate $40 to the cause to make sure that i'm getting my moneys worth out of my efforts. Though i'm sure it takes alot more than $40 a month. Though personally i'm sure the people that are either the administrators or President of the site might tell me otherwise, i don't know. But anyways, i've been a good democrat about it and i do alot to keep things up to par. But alot can happen in a month, but with the way things are going right now, i think the environment is the last thing on Congress's mind. At least that's what i hope, so anyways i'm going to wrap it up here. You know it's amazing how blah life seems to be around the house so late at night when there's nothing else to do except chat on the forums. So anyways i'll let you go :). I hope to hear from you soon,good luck in all you do.

Good to have you with us! I am a big fan of Defenders of Wildlife, too...they do a lot of excellent work. I donated $100 to them back when Alaska was doing their "aerial shooting" of wolves. Keep up the good work donating and signing petitions - every bit helps!

9. I was talking with a head of Fish & Wildlife at a border crossing

last summer and he was real upset with the Bush administration because of how Bush and his cronies want to relax all the laws that used to protect endangered species. He said the difference under this administration is devastating to animals.
