Amazing! Bush said something I actually agree with!
"Iran's got a president that, that, you know, second-guessed the Holocaust and has announced ... the sort of destruction of Israel," said Bush. "He's an odd guy."

Ahmadinejad is, decidely, an "odd guy".

3. Iran is deliberately provoking an Israeli attack
Edited on Fri Dec-16-05 08:19 PM by tocqueville
which is going to give Iran a good reason to retaliate through Iraq and elsewhere through the Hamas.

It's only the west that is upset about Ahmadinejad. Most Arab countries don't really care and the Arab opinion is with him. This guy is the greatest competitor to Osama. And he doesn't live in a cave.

4. You know when you read what the man said
he did not say the Holocaust was a myth. Be wary of propaganda.

Here's what President Ahmadinejad said on December 13, 2005 according to the Associated Press:

''Today, they have created a myth in the name of Holocaust and consider it to be above God, religion and the prophets. If you (the West) committed this big crime, then why should the oppressed Palestinian nation pay the price? This is our proposal: if you committed the crime, then give a part of your own land in Europe, the United States, Canada or Alaska to them so that the Jews can establish their country."

I do like reading Hoffman.

5. I've read a slightly different quote (from Aljazeera)
"They have fabricated a legend under the name Massacre of the Jews, and they hold it higher than God himself, religion itself and the prophets themselves.

"If somebody in their country questions God, nobody says anything, but if somebody denies the myth of the massacre of Jews, the Zionist loudspeakers and the governments in the pay of Zionism will start to scream."

"the myth of the massacre of Jews" sounds like Holocaust denial to me...
