Mr. Pena is very expert in this field. I've heard him on Air America and his commentaries on defense and he is wonderful! BTW, LOL, in a one-on-one debate don't try to take him on.

And the cost of maintaining a prolonged U.S. military presence in Iraq—even for the current force that is unable to put down the insurgency—cannot be ignored. The current cost of military operations is $5.6 billion per month, which exceeds the average cost of $5.1 billion per month (in 2004 dollars) for U.S. military operations in Vietnam between 1964 and 1972. To date, the Iraq war has cost more than $200 billion. So a large-scale, long-term military occupation in Iraq will likely cost hundreds of billions more.

2. Meanwhile, we keep pumping money in and breaking our
bank, while Al Quada is laughing at us for falling into the same old tired trap, of economically breaking the enemy...This administration just is not too smart are they?

3. So, is he saying "we can't win in Iraq"?
Is that what Murtha is essentially saying as well, or am I reading too much into it?

5. Has Pomeroy told them to shut-up yet?

Or do you mean I'm reading too much into it?

6. Well Pomeroy did vote for the Patriot ACT Ext. yesterday. So he'll
probably have him shipped off to Gitmo.
