Sorry, but women should not be allowed to drive.
Edited on Thu Dec-15-05 01:47 PM by Dark
I mean, come on. How many people die from car accidents every year?

Besides, men have always been the one in control of vehicles. That's how it's always been. Remember the old westerns? Who was driving the carriages and wagons? Not women. It goes against thousands of years of tradition, OF TRADITION! Men driving is how it's always been.

Even in the bible, does a woman EVER direct a donkey or horse? No. Who rides into Jerusalem on a Camel?

It ain't Mary Magdalene.

And, you know what's going to happen, don't you? Once women start driving, then people will start wanting to let children drive. Then it's a hop, skip and a jump away from letting ANIMALS drive, and plants, and amoebas even.

BACTERIA BEHIND THE WHEEL! IT WILL BE ANARCHY!

Now, it is true that women have been passengers. Of course. Women are allowed to be passengers. They can sit in the back seat and ride. Even in the Bible, Mary is allowed to ride a donkey. But, note, she does not direct the donkey. Joseph, A MAN, does.

Women should be in the back seat. It's separate, but still equal. Way it has always been, and always will be.

Women should be in the back seat. Some 'libruls' may complain that it isn't equal. But it is!

Both the man and the woman are equally protected by seat belts, and will get there at the same time. But driving is the SACRED duty of men.

It's tradition! It's in the Bible!

Don't let women start driving. As soon as you do, all this will happen, and more.

God will rain down his vengance and smiteth ye!

And don't even get me started on gay marriage.

(Note: I hope I don't have to tell you it's :sarcasm:)

2. Based on the accident I saw this morning, some women
shouldn't be allowed to drive OR walk. (This applies to men too of course, just this morning it was too women, neither of whom was paying any attention to anything but the exact opposite of what they should have been paying attention to).

9. Don't forget the pedestrian looking away from where traffic would come
from and crossing against the light.

They're both nuts if you ask me.

29. If the pedestrian was from Japan or the UK, it'd be easy ...
... to understand why she was "looking away" from oncoming traffic. I've been a pedestrian in the UK and "looked away" more often than I like to admit.

10. Intelligent Design says that driving requires a penis
ID'ers have uncovered a 3,000-year-old scroll, dating back to the beginning of creation, to prove it. On this scroll, right next to a herd of brontosauruses, is a man riding what looks very like a Flintstones vehicle. "The amazing thing is that these cars produced no pollution," said researcher Chris O'Dell. "Truly, this was Gawd's paradise on Earth."

18. No kidding! The idiots in the White House do it all the time....
Wasn't it Gabriela Garcia Marquez who said something about how men have ruled the world and obviously have done a horrid job, so now it's time for women to take over? I'll support that!

16. When I was in saudi Arabia in the first Gulf war we routinely
saw male children that looked as young as 12 or 13 years old driving while thier adult mother rode as passengers. Women were not allowed to drive cars and still aren't as far as I know. Coincidentally (?) the majority of U.S. casualties sustained during our time in the gulf were the result of traffic accidents on Saudi roads...

Insurance companies would know best. They give the lowest premiums to the best drivers.

How do women rate versus men?
