And now for something completely different... A thread we can all enjoy
Tired of all the fighting? Tired of Tookie and Wars and Dinos? Well then join in Walldudes End Of The Year Awards. The only rule is if a category has already been taken you must invent a new one. And no flaming people for their choices. If you don't like my choices then you should have come up with this idea yourself. So on with the show...

Walldudes End Of The Year Awards

Man Of The Year
John Conyers- The Voice of Reason. An oasis of sanity. He’s got our back. And we have his.

Woman Of The Year
Cindy Sheehan- C’mon who else could it be, she single handedly jump started a stagnant anti-war movement.

Cartoon Character Of The Year
Spongebob Squarepants- What can you say about Spongebob, he’s survived the Plankton’s nefarious schemes. He’s kept the Krabbie Patty alive and well, and he’s fended off vicious personal attacks from the self appointed guardian of toon morality Jerry Falwell. Go Bob!

War Of The Year
So many wars this year I think we’ll just give this award to “The War On Everything”. Iraq, Drugs, Christmas, Terror, Senior Citizens, The Poor, The Middle Class, Public Schools, Health Insurance, if a liberal likes it, there’s a war against it. Thank god we have an experienced soldier running the country or we might develop a bad reputation around the world if we don’t win all these wars :eyes:

Holiday Of The Year
FITZMAS BABY!!!!! The holiday that keeps on giving. I was going to give Fitzgerald man of the year but I figured he deserved his own special category.

Self-Delusion of the year
Ann Coulter-“Liberals want to rape me” Liberals don’t want to rape you Ann, they want to FEED YOU! You thought those pies were thrown at you by liberal terrorists? WRONG! Those pie throwers were sent there by your mother because no matter how embarrassing you are to your family, you are still her daughter and you need to get some meat on those bones or you’ll never get laid and she’ll never have any grandkids.

Mugshot Of The Year
There can be only one. Tom DeLay! You just know he had his makeup girl with him. You’d think though, with all the money he’s stolen he could afford a better wig...

Brilliant Political Maneuver Of The Year
Harry Reid- What can you say, he played those bastards like a fiddle.

Primordial Ooze Of The Year
Michelle Malkin! What can you say, slime of the first order. Ever been to her website? It’s a hilarious game of every statement I make is backed up by a link, which leads to another page on my site where I prove my point by linking to… another page on my site.

Hypocrite of the year
Hehe.. is there even any contest? This years Falafel Of Light Award goes to.. none other than Bill O’Reilly!!!!!!!!!
Good god can one man make more mistakes, and spew more lies than Bill?
Texas school banning red and green=Lie
Retailers Banning the word Christmas=Lie
School changing the words to Silent Night=Lie
NY City calling the Tree in Rockefeller Center Holiday Tree=Lie
War On Christmas=Lie
Congratulations Bill. You have spent the last few weeks telling your listeners not to solicit anyplace that uses "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" and then turned around and berated them for following your instructions implicitly. Yes Bill your photo has made the dictionary next to the entry SCROOGE!

Ok feel free to add your own year end winners, I have left many openings...

I totally agree with your list. LOL--I've never been to Malkin's site. So...she sources herself with herself?

3. Yeah I went there once because she said
that all liberals were just racists who said she works for her white masters. Every link she provided took you to another page on her site where she made some other claim that was backed up by... another page on her site. It would be funny if it weren't so sad...

5. Quietly helping out award
goes to Sam Waterston. This fellow helps more causes without insisting on publicity for himself than any other person I know.

6.  Good list- may I add one?
To me the story of the year had to be .....the Crystal Meth driven life.

The woman who "saved" the guy who shot up and fled the Atlanta courthouse turned out to be a meth head...but hey she has quit since then.

22. Oh, it's been said here before.
I didn't make it up. But I heard it first years ago on "Nightcourt". Dan Fielding had said that about a new prosecutor. :)

Strategy of the Year: Yuletide Hatred - turning the holiday season into contentious victimization. Worked effectively with the 'mainstream' media, as they knew it would.
