The pure irony regarding the idiotic "war on Christmas"
A war on Christmas??? I think not.

It is a diversion because the republicans want the lemmings to spend the holidays mad about the war on Christmas rather than have them reflect on the War in Iraq.

Christmas is the celebration of the birth of the Prince of Peace...the son of God and how would he feel about the War in Iraq ...especially when it was one in which we went to war on lies.

The same Christ who told us to turn the other cheek? ....Blessed be the peacemakers?

How would Christ feel about a nation that cuts social programs to feed the war machine?

So as people rally about the war on Christmas...perhaps they should reflect more on the teachings of that babe born in that manger...

1. You're absolutely right
Nothing insults Jesus more than killing & war
(except maybe killing & war in his name)

These shithead republicans & reichwing fundies are
the furthest thing from Christian by any definition.

Jesus truly weeps at what they are doing.

2. And republicans know how easy it is
to divert the attention of their base. Do you think that any republican elected officials sometime sit quietly and ponder the notion that they got elected because there are so many ignorant people in this country.

4. what cracks me up
is right there at the height of this nonsense people start receiving their Christmas cards from George and Laura with Happy Holidays on it instead of Merry Christmas. It's like guys-GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER.Once again imagine if you will if Fox had started this crap during the Clinton years-there would be investigations and well you know...

5. Rethuglicians eat their young, kill the children of others
Would you expect anything else? There is no celebration of the Baby Jesus by these fools, they celebrate the size of their McMansions and the depth of their wallets, let the black and brown children fight their wars so they can continue to indulge.

If there is a hell, it should be here as they have their lives turned upside-down and their riches taken from them, because they know not the most valuable of all assets, love.
