Aryan tabloid pops up in Spotsylvania, VA

A tabloid paper left outside their homes this week has some Spotsylvania County residents disturbed and offended.

The 16-page paper, The Aryan Alternative, is loaded with venom against blacks, Jews, Mexicans and others.

"You can't arrest people being stupid and disgusting," sheriff's Deputy Robin Kocher said. "Even they have freedom of speech."

Stafford County Sheriff Charles Jett said similar white supremacist literature pops up in Stafford periodically.

Aryan nation and white supremacy is just part of our fine Virginia landscape. Years ago when I was growing up in Alexandria there was talk of the President of the National Nazi party living in Arlington just a few streets away from us.

Anyhow, Only reason I found this story is I have a friend living in that county, and I pay a bit of attention to his local news. Ugh.

I'm talking about the ficticious Eastern European Country that Boris and Natasha came from.
I just Googled it. They were from Pottsylvania. Too bad. It would have been amusing to think that a haven for racists had the same name.
