*'s Speech today, something that makes it all so hallow
Edited on Wed Dec-14-05 08:02 PM by Ioo
For the better part of 18 month the president and his failed administration has been doing almost nothing but attempting to convince you that some how Iraq was a nobal cause. the last few weeks he has been on a tour to rewrite history, for the most part it has failed. Today he admitted that the intelligence was wrong, that was not the real question, the real question was when he knew it was wrong. Evidence shows that he knew that it was wrong before he went into Iraq.

The speeches are nothing more than an attempt to re-write history, and here is proof, read this from his speech today…

September the 11th also changed the way I viewed threats like Saddam Hussein. We saw the destruction terrorists could cause with airplanes loaded with jet fuel -- and we imagined the destruction they could cause with even more powerful weapons. At the time, the leaders of both political parties recognized this new reality: We cannot allow the world's most dangerous men to get their hands on the world's most dangerous weapons. In an age of terrorism and weapons of mass destruction, if we wait for threats to fully materialize, we will have waited too long. (Applause.)

Odd, NORTH Korea has been telling us to go screw ourselves, he has screamed that he has NUKES and they are willing to use it, and yet we have done nothing. They have pointed the NUKES that we KNOW he has, and we have done nothing. This only makes the speech more hollow. The "world's most dangerous" man has them, and like Osama, you took your eye off the prize, so here is the question, why did we really go to war with Iraq?

PS, I am not advocating war with NK, I am just saying?

5. It almost seemed for a moment that he was trying to imitate JFK.
When he said that it was his responsibility, but then he danced around it and tried like Hell to worm away from the actual taking responsibility for his fuck up.

Did anyone get the feeling that Chimpy watched film clips of JFK taking responsibility for the botched Cuba invasion, thinking if he did the same on Iraq (as close as the same can be for Chimpy), then his ratings would go up too?

6. It's been a month and I still have not heard
from my son who left for Tikrit in November. Anything Bush says is a lie, do not believe him. He is a deceiver of great proportions.

8. I Believe You Meant To Say "Hollow"
It was just a string of cliches, one after the other, without a single new word. I actually listened to it in the car. Normally I would have tuned out right at the sound of his voice but today I forced myself to sit thought it (at a car wash - I had pulled over and was waiting anyway).

Just so much shallow and hollow bullshit. That's all it was. Trying to use the same old lies to bring the block back home. It didn't work, I'm sure of that. Once you've seen bullshit you get real good at recognizing it. Its like riding a bike, you never forget.
