1. What a novel concept
Telling the truth.

Does anyone really think that congress would have voted for war to 'bring democracy to Iraq?"

4. Excellent.
I'm glad Murtha has reminded the public of this. This country needs to remember that "bringing democracy to Iraq" was the only excuse that stuck after all the other lies were de-fanged.

5. He shouldn't be the only Dem saying this IMO....
God, why aren't the "opposition party" representatives clamoring at the gates? :wtf:

It is just so disheartening sometimes.

:grr:

(Good for Murtha - doing it all on his own here....)

7. There are others saying this too!
John Kerry has been on Imus, on Ed Schultz, on MTP, etc...saying this too.

The opposition party is getting stronger. They're just not there yet.

6. Nice, but he shouldn't call it 'war'.
'War' is when 2 or more countries have a gripe.

What we did to Iraq was invade and occupy.
