Anyone watching Showtime's new series 'Sleeper Cell' ?

I mostly watch sports and politics on TV, but I must say this new show ain't bad. Last nights episode was especially intriguing hitting on what kind of ramifications places like Gitmo can cause.

Any one else been watching?

I think that it's an excellent show ... very well written.

Edit:

I was especially impressed by the positive message of non-radicalized Islam that the show conveys. The main character is a Muslim FBI agent.

1. I saw the adds and thought that it looked like more GESTAPO propaganda
you know let's turn everyone against their neighbor then turn children against parents. FEAR FEAR FEAR

4. I can see why, but it's really not like that at all
It touches on topics such as:

- preconceive notions of Islam and violence
- what the "war on terra" has done to the world
- internal conflicts of what faith is

it's good stuff and excellent acting too.

2. I almost did. I started to watch and
thought it was a movie so I surfed around and missed it. Was it good? Is it an ongoing drama? Who's the good guys?

3. Yes! I like the show a lot. I have last night's show taped to watch

tonight, though -- I have to get up too early to stay up until 11. Sad, huh?

It isn't a propaganda piece; the main character is an African American muslim who, as a gov agent, has infiltrated a sleeper cell of Al Qaeda here in the US. Very suspenseful, and of course the agent is always on the verge of getting found out. It has seemed like a very fair and evenhanded treatment of the whole idea of the sleeper cell.
