Any of you freeptards wanna answer this or come out and play?

In the famous words of Chimpy McClueless "Bring em on" or better "Bring it on"

I am sick and tired of these people saying one thing and doing another.:grr::grr::grr::grr::grr:

I am not the most religious person but in light of what I know about God, Jesus ect... I am incline to think that God is weeping right now for what Our country has done to the World and some of her peoples.

God is going to make all of these sheeple "answer" for their sins and the blood that is on their hands.:grr:

Thou Shalt Not Kill
Thou Shalt Love thy Neighbor

Do these sheeple even know what Christ stood for????

Maybe PEACE on earth would ring a bell for them?

All of them are going to Hell - :grr::grr::grr:

thanx for letting me rant.

2. Lucky for them, in Christianity
Ignorance is an excuse. Those who know better are in trouble.

3. Repentance is an excuse, not ignorance.
Jesus said to treat others as we would treat ourselves. Also there are numerous warnings about false prophets, hypocrits and those who claim to be speaking for God.

6. No doubt if all of these "Christians" would take a step back and ask
themselves: Would Jesus do this?

I think this would change how sheeple looked at things.

Thanx for mentioning the false prophets as well, I think sheeple are missing those parts of their bush bibles.

I just want one Sheeple just one to look into a person's eyes as they are about to die as a result of the sheeple's stupidity in voting for * and still say this is what Jesus wants.

God is weeping

7. No, if you believe in Jesus
then you can do anything you want to do, and you're still going to heaven. If you don't believe in Jesus, then no matter what you do, you're going to hell. You don't even need to believe what Jesus said, let alone apply it to your life. Just be part of the gang.

Now you see why religion is so popular. It's like a get out of jail free card.

Other religions send a similar message.

8. This all tends on
Which of the letters and Gospels you believe. Certainly Paul thought this way, but Jude clearly did not.

9. Well, Paul is the main guy
who defined the New Testament, right?

More to the point however is that this attitude seems to be the prevalent one we're hearing in this day and age. It's *all* about 'accepting Christ' as your savior. I never hear Christians talking about how it's your good deeds that count, in fact many of them refute that, and I *never* hear that you'll go to 'heaven' even if you don't believe their beliefs but you do good. The belief in Christ appears to be the sole determinant, with maybe some good deeds for extra credit.

10. Here's a seasonal passage from the Gospel of Luke to ponder
Luke 1:46-55 known as Mary's song

My soul magnifies the Lord,
and my spirit rejoices in God,my Savior,
Who has regarded the low estate of God's handmaiden.
For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed;
for God who is mighty has done great things for me,
and holy is God's name.

And God's mercy is on those who fear God
from generation to generation.
God has shown strength with God's arm,
has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts,
Put down the mighty from their thrones,
and exalted those of low degree;
has filled the hungry with good things,
and the rich has sent empty away.
God has helped God's servant Israel,
remembering to show mercy,
as God spoke to our fathers,
to Abraham and to his posterity forever.

I recommend the book "Reading the Bible with Third World Eyes" by Robert McAfee Brown for a serious discussion of this passage as well as other aspects of liberation theology. As I understand this concept, the world power brokers who have trampled the poor and hungry are going to have a lot to answer for. I also fear that those of us who have not tried mightily to stop them may also be in a bit of trouble as well. This does not make for comfortable reading.

As a sidelight, this is the kind of thoughtful preparation I was taught we should be making during the current period of Advent--not crabbing about who is fighting a war about Christmas.
