Act Now: Congress Making Crucial Budget Decisions This Week
All of our work over the past year towards a more responsible federal budget comes down to this week -- Congress is trying for a final deal to cut services. With this likely being the last week both the Senate and House will be in session this year, GOP leaders are determined to vote on a final conference agreement that will cut around $45 billion in vital services to low- and middle-income families, as well as provide up to $56 billion in tax cuts that will mainly benefit the wealthy.
