The reason why the U.S.A ambassador interfered in Canada's election!
The man from the Wall Street Journal (his first name is John,I can't remember his last name) was on CTV Newsnet this morning, and according to him, U.S.A Ambassador Wilkins interjected himself into the Canadian election to complain about P.M. Martin mainly because Martin appeared with Pres. Clinton at the Montreal Summit....It seems this really ticked off little Georgie Bush....The fact that Martin kind of scolded Bush about keeping up his end of the NAFTA bargain (re softwood lumber) last time they met, didn't sit too well with him either....
P.S....For those of you who don't know, Canada has a dispute with the U.S.A with regards to the tarrifs the U.S.A has imposed on softwood lumber and refuses to take them off, even though there have been several judgments made in Canada's favour by the dispute panel....

3. Sexism comment. As if 13 year old boys are excluded from this type of
action and as if the people we are talking directly about are not boys.

2. Re: lumber tariffs
The softwood lumber tariffs are a great example of Bush ignorance.

"The financial cost of this tariff is probably only $35 per working American, but morally the cost is astronomical. The Bush Administration has openly decided to force working class Americans to pay for the bad business practices of a few lumber companies. With the downturn in the economy, inconsistent oil prices, rising health care premiums, and low wages or even unemployment the last thing working class Americans need are increased costs for goods (furniture) and greater difficulties in building or purchasing a new home.

This is one example of President Bush’s economic policy and the impacts on middle class Americans. From his failed business ventures in the private world to his failed economic policies in government he has again proven to us that his administration has little business or economic sense and little care for the struggles of working class Americans."

4. Not to mention the fact that Canada is operating under the rules of the
NAFTA agreement and the Bushies are not....Martin pointed out to Bush that the U.S.A could not expect to sell free trade to other countries if they did not live up to their agreement with Canada...

5. No - they tried to "stereotype" and called Canadians "mean spirited"
if they support the Liberals. A blatant attempt to get a reaction and change of action out of the Canadian electorate. Nefarious types always stereotype to get what they want. The used car dealer implies that the nice family is not very nice if they don't sign on the dotted line.

Old tools of your average sociopath.

Creepy.
