2. allowing New Orleans and the Gulf Coast to die while we spend . . .
billions to "rebuild" Iraq (read: enrich Halliburton) is an American tragedy of monumental proportions . . . and no one seems to care . . .

just add "killing a major American city" to the list of impeachable offenses committed by this president . . . and it's already a LONG list . . .

3. This is what disgusts me about the right wingers.
Edited on Mon Dec-12-05 11:40 AM by Beelzebud
They act like it's our duty to rebuild Iraq in our own image. They see nothing at all wrong with spending hundreds of billions of dollars in Iraq.

However, when the subject turns to New Orleans, they start spouting off about how much money that will take, and asking why should we rebuild for the poor, etc. etc. etc.

It's just sick. It really pisses me off.

4. Right wingers also like to cut every program that ...
helps people to get on their feet, so we can have a better society. They seem to combine the misery and make the situation worse. The stupidest thing is they would rather spend billions paying off dicatator and their minions, than help their own countrymen. I don't see how by helping to destroy their own countrymen they are destroying america. This is a powder keg that is about to explode then he will have more than one crisis on his hands. Just plain old stupid.
