Family Upset Over Marine's Body Arriving As Freight
SAN DIEGO -- There's controversy over how the military is transporting the bodies of service members killed overseas, 10News reported.

A local family said fallen soldiers and Marines deserve better and that one would think our war heroes are being transported with dignity, care and respect. It said one would think upon arrival in their hometowns they are greeted with honor. But unfortunately, the family said that is just not the case.

1. "Honor and dignity," my ass
If this is how the WH treats our fallen soldiers, I'm glad I took my chances with Kerry instead.

3. The order for such treatment was probably signed by
Rumsferatu's auto-pen.

Yeah, they care so much about slain troops. :sarcasm:

I bet the airline companies don't want people knowing there were bodies under their seats when they disembark and see a color guard.

4. This needs to become a bigger story
Especially when the Pentagon doesn't allow reporters to photograph the frag-draped coffins coming into Dover Air Force Base. Recommended.

5. Kicking and Recommending this one...
Maybe when peoples' tolerance for hypocrisy is maxed out, they'll reconsider who they vote for. This story makes me sick; can you imagine going to receive the body of your loved one at some sort of baggage claim?

:kick:
