Bush - Guilty of High Treason???...
Oath of office:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

What a hoot!

Extra-constitutionally, Bush launched an unprovoked war on Saddam.

Our Constitution has been systematically struck dumb & down under Bush.

3. LOL! Exactly.
And, as Jefferson said, 'it is the duty of all citizens to overthrow a corrupt government.'

7. Yes...
While I wish Bush no harm (the Christian in me), he and his cohorts need to be held accountable to the oaths they took while swearing on the Bible.

They swore under God to defend the very Constitution that they're consciously dismantling.

Ironically, Bush Cheney et al resist taking God out of our national lexicon (and I agree that God should remain to look over the shoulders of politicians) -- while these self professed beacons of morality systematically undermine our God inspired Constitution.

Where are the real Conservatives when you need them?

4. Definition of politician?
One who swears an oath each term in office to preserve protect and defend the Constitution, and if time permits, may some day obtain a copy so he can pretend to have read it.

I know you're only half joking; but remember that Bush not only failed to uphold our Constitution -- He actively worked (and works) to undo it!

As defined under our Constitution -- this is treason.

edit for syntax

9. Bush is a blockhead. Cheney is the evil one.
I'd like to see the Dick impeached and imprisoned, if not executed. Where's that heart attack? Cheney is the only person I have ever wanted to see die in my whole life. America is at stake.

I, too, am a Christian. And, just before logging on to DU, I was on a minor rant about * and managed to articulate (without screaming) that, AT THE VERY LEAST, * and all of his teammates deserve a to spend the rest of their days in maximum security prison.

AT THE VERY LEAST!!

Treason??!! You Bet!!

AND, let me say, I cannot imagine any citizen of this nation uttering such filth as the Constitution is just a "goddamned piece of paper."

14. To the best of my ability
It says in the oath, "to the best of my ability..." Being Dubya, he doesn't have any ability. Everything the man has ever done has tanked.
