How did **'s Presidential Ambitions originate
Edited on Sat Dec-10-05 09:53 PM by ck4829
A. Somewhere, a village lost an Idiot

B. In a smoke filled room somewhere in the basement of Tom DeLay's mansion (AKA Tom DeLay's secret basement lair), Elite RW'ers were deciding who to prop up as their puppet

C. The door to the Twilight Zone was left ajar

D. It all started with a memo Harriet Miers sent that said "You are the bestest governor ever, remember to eat the cookies I put in your lunchbox. I luv u." Bush read this and said "I guess that makes me Prezidential material."

E. Other

1. when the best part of him missed
mommy's vagina and ran down her thigh, they scraped up the seed and saved it, raised it in a jar in the basement of the New Haven compound, kept it in the dark until the right moment...

then

BAM

Because power brings the money. And Mommy can't get enough money...no matter how much there is.

5. He had $58 million dangled in front of his slack-jawed face.
That's how much was raised for his campaign before he even decided to run. All someone (Rove?) had to to was offer it up.

6. His version as I recall,
was that he was in church with his mother when the preacher gave a sermon about the immorality in the White House and he felt the call to make things right. Of course that was probably to sell it to the fundies but the mention of his mother may be somewhat close to the truth.

been unsuccessful all his life, or corrupt (Ann Richards' campaign, anyone?). But boy, that dimson is personable, doncha know, even if he's dumber than a box of rocks. The rest is history. :eyes:

8. Jebbers lost his bid for Florida governor in 1994 and Dubbie
won his. H.W. slapped his forehead and said, "Aw, geez, we're going to have to go with plan B. Don't screw it up like you have everything else, George."

10. All Part Of The Plan
to make sure Jebbers WOULD be in Florida, when needed, in order to fuck with the vote counts. They didn't trust Dumbya to be able to be smart enough to fuck with the vote counts, and make Jeb President instead.

stumbled, hit his head, his mind went from mostly blank to totally blank and when he regained consciousness he was the president. No thought processes were involved.

Rove looked at Bush and said, "that's somebody that I can MAKE President".

(Plus his name, and the fact that his family and friends have been amongst the shadow rulers of this country for the past 100 years.)

I am from Connecticut, and I think Lieberman has become a disgrace, he's the next Zell Miller. He went to Yale, so that strikes me as a possible cause for being chummy with the Bushies. We have to find a candidate to challenge him next election.

26. Sad thing is..
the only reason he was able to run in 2000 was because 60,000 more Texans chose a repuke Lt Gov instead of the Dem Lt Gov during chimp's last term as TX gov. The Lt Gov race was a fucking blood bath in the media/commercials at the time. Looking back, the reason for the extra intensity: had a Dem won the Lt Gov race, there was no way in hell chimpass could have left to run for prez cuz it would have left Texas in the hands of a Dem Gov.
The Lt Gov race was so close that the repuke won by,if I remember correctly, around 60,000 votes.
