"Michael Reagan: "Howard Dean should be arrested for treason and either hung or put in a hole until the war's over"
Summary: Conservative radio host Michael Reagan asserted that Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean "should be arrested for treason, and either hung or put in a hole until the war's over." Reagan reiterated that Dean "should be arrested for treason" three times during his December 5 broadcast.
On the December 5 edition of his syndicated radio program, conservative radio host Michael Reagan asserted that Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean "should be arrested for treason and either hung or put in a hole until the war's over." Reagan's remark came in response to Dean's comments during an appearance on San Antonio radio station WOAI earlier that day. Reagan reiterated his point several times throughout the broadcast, suggesting that Dean "should be arrested for treason" a total of three separate occasions.

From the December 5 broadcast of Radio America's The Michael Reagan Show:

REAGAN: Howard Dean should be arrested for treason. He should be arrested for treason. He should be put into a hole somewhere and left there until the war in Iraq is over for what he is doing. Because he doesn't see any good news at all. The good news is -- to him -- is we lose the war. Because then he says and feels that they can take back the House, the Senate and the White House. We have people in this country from the left who probably jump up and down every time an American loses his life. Or her life. Because they're thinking politics instead of what really is going on.

Howard Dean will never be on my show in his lifetime. And Howard Dean should be arrested for treason. And if not hung, put in a hole."

And please read some of the comments there...they are scary as hell.

2. Sometime someone will
put together a linear progression of Repiglican hate.

Michael Reagan's remarks are disgusting. But they become terrifying in conjunction with Bill Bennett's "abort the black babies" comments; horrifying in conjunction with Rush saying he's glad the Christian Peace Team hostages were taken; sickening in conjunction with Pat Robertson saying (earlier this week) "the Jews are coming after the Christians."

There's a legal concept known as "pattern and practice." It's when we effectively identify the Wrong's "pattern and practice" that we can begin to tear them apart.

4. Death threats such as those against Howard Dean must be taken seriously
and prosecuted in court of law. Michael Reagan must be held accountable.
