It's still TWO WEEKS away, already!
Try this one out on a friend:

Go up to them two weeks before their birthday and give them a gift. Tell them "have a great day." Bake them a cake and light all the candles. Tell them to make a wish, and sing "Happy Birthday to You."

Would you do this? Of course not. You would wait until their birthday, as well you should.

And yet, two weeks before Christmas Eve, the Fox News people are whipping up a public frenzy over whether people are saying "Merry Christmas" in early to mid-December. It's absurd.

Why not wait until it actually IS Christmas, i.e. December 24-25, to get worked up over this? Maybe because they would only have 36 hours to rail about this "war", and by December 26 it would all be over? What fun would that be?

I don't know which is worse: the people doing this, or the people who can't see through it.

5. I've always said "Happy Holidays"
because Christmas and New Years are only a week apart. I see the month from Thanksgiving thru new years as the holiday season.
