4. I've got that poster
in my laundry room. A good one agreed. You are missing part of it though. On the grass in which Lennon stands is a sign that says, "Stay Off the Grass!". :)

How

How can I go forward when I don't know which way I'm facing?
How can I go forward when I don't know which way to turn?
How can I go forward into something I'm not sure of?
Oh no, oh no

How can I have feeling when I don't know if it's a feeling?
How can I feel something if I just don't know how to feel?
How can I have feelings when my feelings have always been denied?
Oh no, oh no

You know life can be long
And you got to be so strong
And the world is so tough
Sometimes I feel I've had enough

How can I give love when I don't know what it is I'm giving?
How can I give love when I just don't know how to give?
How can I give love when love is something I ain't never had?
Oh no, oh no

You know life can be long
You've got to be so strong
And the world she is tough
Sometimes I feel I've had enough

How can we go forward when we don't know which way we're facing?
How can we go forward when we don't know which way to turn?
How can we go forward into something we're not sure of?
Oh no, oh no

8. It still doesn't compute

that he was murdered/assassinated. John, you were a visionary & blessing to a generation. Rest in peace.

24. Sadly, it computes all too well
They played a radio news clip last night on XM that I hadn't heard since the day John was murdered and had forgotten about. The clip had a witness to the shooting describing ShitHead (I refuse to use the bastard's name) as being in a "combat stance" as he was firing his weapon. Along with the Catcher In The Rye book found on the scene, these are signs of a programmed killer. As in "MK-Ultra".

It's a fact that the Bush Criminal Empire weren't fans of John Lennon. They tried to deport him from this country in the early 70's. The Statue of Liberty photo above was taken after Lennon won his battle to stay in the US in court. Nixon and J. Edna Hoover also had agents tailing John for years.

After winning his court case, John "retired" from music to spend as much time as possible with his son Sean. The timing of his own musical comeback, in the fall of 1980 might have been a mistake, since the Bush Criminal Empire was planning their own comeback, in the form of the Reagan/Bush ticket.

Would they have considered the older, calmer Lennon (whose last album, Double Fantasy, was hardly political) to be a "threat" to their return to power?

They had already rigged the hostage crisis to steal the election from Jimmy Carter. Who knows what these fools think or what they are truly capable of.

But if Lennon alone in his role as a 40 year old coming out of semi-retirement didn't seem all that threatening, something else might have....

A full fledged Beatles reunion. And according to recently released documents, that reunion may have been closer than any of us realized. Paul McCartney's 1979 contract with Columbia records states his intention to make music again with John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr.

The reunited Beatles would have been a powerful musical force and also carried a great deal of political influnce, should they decide to involve themselves in an issue. Would that be enough to force the first family of crime into another murder?

I really wouldn't put it past them. :(

9. The world misses him...
Imagine

John Lennon

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one.

23. He confronted that part of himself. He fought it
Cynthia forgave him. And he dedicated his life to changing that anger into a force for good. Most of us have demons. Few of us admit them, fewer still fight them with all our being, and almost none do so as naked in public. That made John Lennon a role model for almost all men, not just the most enlightened ones.

16. This has always been one of my favorites...
and appropriate for your pic...

Happy Christmas

So this is Christmas
And what have you done
Another year over
And a new one just begun
And so this is Christmas
I hope you have fun
The near and the dear ones
The old and the young

A very merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear
And so this is Christmas
For weak and for strong
For rich and the poor ones
The world is so wrong
And so happy Christmas
For black and for white
For yellow and red ones
Let's stop all the fight
A very merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear
And so this is Christmas
And what have we done
Another year over
And a new one just begun
And so this is Christmas
I hope you have fun
The near and the dear ones
The old and the young
A very merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear
War is over over
If you want it
War is over
Now...

Peace.
