1. Number ten doesn't exsist
It's Colombia ;-)

But I'd say it's gonna be Bolivia. Not a war, a peacekeeping mission.

2. PNAC Rule #1 - only fight wars you can easily win
Syria will be next...not Iran. They can't afford another Iraq, until after re-selection.

25. No, Syria has an army that can put up a fight. Syria would be a very bad
choice, it really would. Go with the Netherlands. No, I didn't vote for the Netherlands.

37. Syria really does have WMDs.
Mostly biochemical-type weapons, I understand. They could put up a nasty fight.

Face it; Iraq was just about the only country in the Middle East that couldn't fight back, beside Kuwait and Jordan.

5. He ALREADY has a war....in fact, he has two...
...but it's going badly in both Afghanistan and Iraq.

IMHO, if he tries to push another war on the U. S. military, he's going to face an open revolt. He already has strong factions within the CIA, FBI, DOJ, the Pentagon, the State Department, and other organizations leaking damaging information.

Things WILL get VERY bad if the NeoCons go after Iran, and/or Syria, and/or North Korea.

24. I voted for Cuba
I think he will try something political there, maybe not invasion (I certainly hope not), but some kind of coup. They're worried about Florida and a Cuban crisis, IMO, would be easier to manipulate than Iran, Syria, or some of the others. If we had enough troops, I think he might go for Syria or Iran; however, think they know they would be overreaching there and certainly could not get congressional approval for anything there. I don't think they would get approval for a coup against Cuba; just think they will do something ridiculous there.

34. Whistleass "plan"
When poll numbers are down:

Step One: Pooh-pooh the polls

Step Two: Send out Rice, Rumsfeld and Powell to booga-booga on talk shows

Step Three: "Leak" a terra-lert

Step Four: Issue an official terra-lert

Step Five: "Leak" a Bin-laden or Saddam tape

Step Six: Declare War

----------

We are currently at step 5 with the recent release of Bin-Laden tape.

-----------

Syria is next because of it's proximity to Israel and the existing pipeline between Iraq and Syria. Wouldn't take much more to extend that pipeline into Israel, which will give Israel access to cheaper oil (they are currently buying from Russia), also access to the Mediterrean Sea which would cut shipping costs for the tankers.

If the Whistleass invades Syria, there is a good probability that we will be in a two front war if Iran jumps in to help Syria, visa-versa if the Whistleass invades Iran first

In any event - the Whistleass won't start invading until a few weeks before the November sElection. as a whole, we americans don't like to "change horses" (or horse's asses) in the middle of a war

Regarding the probability that American's will protest yet another war and that this would "curb" the whistleass - don't count on it - if the Whistleass doesn't pay attention to polls, (which are a snap-shot of public opinion) - what makes you think he'll listen the American people?

35. Liberal Democracy here at home.
"The press is is filtering my message"

"I'm not sure if we'll ever find those leakers. It's a big administration."

This administration is focused with all guns on re-election. Every action is geared toward political gain. This is the most baldly political and corrupt administration in the history of the nation.

Karl Rove has an enemies list. He's like an evil Santa Claus, preparing to dish out nasty toys to those he deems bad.

Valerie Plame? Fair game!

Report facts? You're gay and CANADIAN!

250,000 troops needed? Rotate home General (ret.)!

Needs more be said?

They are at war with us!
