Republicans ridicule Democrats for having "no plan" for Iraq but....
When John Murtha came up with a plan to "re-ploy" our troops so they would not be sitting ducks, he was ridiculed by the Republicans. When other Democrats came up with a plan to set a "timetable" for withdrawal, they were ridiculed by Bush and the Republicans. When still others suggested we should have an "immediate withdrawal", they were shot down by the Republicans. They don't want a plan! They want the Democrats to agree with Bush and the Republicans on continuing the slaughter. They continue to spout these lies as we speak.

2. I'm still waiting for the republicans to articulate their plan.
They keep sayings dems don't have one, the plan for victory Bush came out with just didn't cut it for me. And I still think Kerry's plan addresses the withdrawl of troops and the political solutions.

3. well, their plan sucked and now they have none themselves.
And since republicans are always so eager to point out that they control everything and since they always disregard what the Dems in Congress say anyway, the onus is on them. The question must be returned to them as often as it takes which will be a lot since they thrive on repeating BS. What's their plan?

4. When they say "no plan"
it's deceptive and misleading...their stock in trade. Technically, no plan (singular), is true. They fail to address, debate, consider ANY plan from SEVERAL Democrats. John Murtha's proposed a plan, John Kerry proposed a plan months ago, and Russ Feingold has proposed a plan as well just to name a few. So, there are several plans.

And if the Republicans Behind Bush are so fully and completely supportive of the President's "plan", then why is there a USAID request for a "plan" to provide stability to 10 cities in Iraq. Big bucks paid by taxpayers attached on that one! The details also have the caveat of 10 cities, might be more and might be less! Oh, and funds have not yet been approved. Hmmmm....didn't I hear that the DoD is putting another supplemental forward at the beginning of 2006?

Fact is, Bush's plan is to stay the course and in time somebody's going to take over and fix it. In effect, it gets fixed by someone else and Bush can then say, "See, I told you everything would be just as I said. I declare Victory!" But the fact is his ass is getting pulled out of the fire by someone else...just as it has been for the whole of his life!

5. It's Their War...Their Party
When I run into people saying "the Democrats have no plan"...I ask them where they would have heard one...and then if they trust the corporate media.

Next...why should the Democrats have a plan? We didn't propose this war. A majority of us didn't want it, felt there were far better alternatives and strongly believe this invasion is based on lies. Why should Democrats have to come up with a solution to a mess they didn't create? This is what a repugnican dominated America is all about. Folks...we're now in Ronnie Raygun's "little shining city on the hill"...the right wing uptopia. Isn't this what "red" America wanted?

Democrats shouldn't bite on this "gotcha" game since when someone tries to play, then they are either labeled as being a war enabler or "cut and run"...and further pulls away from the point that Repugnicans got us into this mess and they, not Democrats, must bear the brunt of the responsibility.

Our job is to keep that focus...reminding those who voted for the "lesser" of evils that they made the wrong choice. Democrats need not say a word...or should they have to...until well into next year's elections. Right now, it's the repugnicans that have a lot of 'splaining to do.

Cheers...
