Scotty explains what "victory" is:

<snip>

Q: And I have one more question. How do you define "complete" -- how does the President define "complete victory in Iraq"?

MR. McCLELLAN: Well, he actually defines "victory" in his remarks. He talked about that today. Victory is when the terrorists and Saddam loyalists no longer threaten Iraq's democracy. Victory is when the Iraqi security forces can protect their citizens. And victory is achieved when Iraq is not a safe haven from which terrorists can plot attacks against America and others in the civilized world.

Q: -- people defending their own country, aren't they? Are they all terrorists?

MR. McCLELLAN: No. The President actually talked about the enemy. They fit into three different categories. And he talked abut the Saddam loyalists who want to return to the past, the dark past. We're seeing the brutalities of the past come out now in a trial that's being held to hold Saddam Hussein and his leaders accountable for the atrocities they committed --

committed at their behest.

2. Does he ever say anything of substance?
I mean, I understand that part of being Press Secretary of any administration means you have to be full of shit, but Simple Scotty doesn't even spin bullshit! Just a bunch of meaningless repetitions and non-sequitors.

3. It's almost funny
"They hate freedom"
They demand to be enslaved by a brutal dictator who puts them through a woodchipper! So much that they're willing to die in suicide attacks rather than be free.

How can Bushbots listen to this crap and nod their heads in mutual agreement?
The'll never be able to defend themselves from their neighbors either.
I don't see anyone training in tanks, fighter jets, or artillary.

They're just trying to assemble an American friendly "security force" to control their own population.

Good luck.

5. I guess it's not nice to pull down the press sec's pants during a briefing
and paddle him. might get you thrown out of the pool. He does invite it though. I.e., did the administration select him as press spokesman because they thought he looked so harmless and weak that anyone thinking to apply the appropriate demolition charges to the administration illogic he was spouting, in his particular namby-pamby way, would feel ashamed and decide not to ? Oooooooooooo, what a glorious way to leave the press pool. "I may not be getting invited back, but I left a steaming puddle at the foot of the lectern. Hehehehehe."
