Breaking!!! Bush caught by reporter drinking alcoholic beverage!!
Edited on Sun Dec-04-05 09:10 PM by Gabi Hayes
I'm listening to uberBushbot suckmunch Mike Allen (one of those who was wisked off to the infamous Baghdad turkey dinner in 03).

he just said that while the dauphin was in Mongolia he drank "fermented milk" of some sort. I just heard him say it, but can't remember if it was yak, goat, Laura, or what

he said it's 3%, though, which is almost as strong as the old 3.2 beer one used to be able to buy

what Allen DIDn't say was how much he drank, or how wasted he was.

so. There you have it. Bush drinks ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES!!!

it's on the record.

EDIT:

Allen: Now. You've seen the tabs, uh, saying that the president, uh, might be taking up some old habits. Uhh, he did indulge in a little fermented goat's milk in Mongolia....

Mike Tackett, interrupting: Hmm Hmm HAH!

Allen: ...which I'm told, which I'm told, is 3 percent

Tackett: Is that like a major buzz?

Allen: Yeah, exactly

2. Common Knowledge - it was reported at the time on MSM
He claims to have given up binge drinking - not to never touch anything that had any element of fermentation

7. Wow!
I used to get pretty wasted on that 3.2 beer. We could buy it at 18 in Kansas back in the day.

12. Nahhh, No Delete. I'm surpised they called it that. I was just
sensitive to the Breaking headline, as I thought this was going to be something new and legitimate.

Didn't mean to snap at ya :)

13. 's OK. Marketing...how else does one get a look-see here, anyway?
You made a point I forgot to mention, though. Media has already buried this one, as I meant to predict it would; not that it's that much of a story, other than they always play up the point that he's an ABSOLUTE teetotaler, ever since he found the Lord.

is this a preface to more little "slips," though, I wonder?

Really hoping here for stories ala "The Final Days," where he's fumblin rumblin stumblin through the portrait gallery at the WH, babbling to former presidents. Oops...Woodward wrote that book, didn't he, so that probably never happened.

16. Sighhh, I hear ya. I had what I considered an important thread earlier,
yet there it went dropping like a rock, because it didn't have BREAKING, rape, guns, or Hillary in the title.

So I can feel what you are saying with the marketing bit. Actually, I think you were one of the few that responded to that earlier thread lol.

It's all good Gabi

19. LOL You may not want to, we disagreed a bit in it.
Actually, I did agree with your sentiment 100%, I just thought the other points were important too. I wish I could edit my response a bit now, but oh well :)

Here it is anyway though.

9. WH will claim it was de-alcoholized fermented yak's milk
Sometimes known as "near-fermented yak's milk". Perfectly harmless.

stuff he was after...and I'm sure he was well supplied with that. Just as a taster, though. He needed to okay that the product was good enough for worldwide consumption since he's would be an expert on quality of what comes from Poppys...and Poppies. :eyes:
