When AREN'T Democrats "in disarray?"
"Democrats in Disarray." It seems to be the latest catch phrase from the GOP, their media whores and, yes, even from many Democrats.

Maybe we ought to embrace that, and acknowledge that Disarray Equals Democracy.

Of course there's some truth in the meme that Democrats lack unity, as evidenced by the perpetual flames between the DLC and "leftists."

But Democrats have been in disarry since.....Well, since there were Democrats. It's always been a party of splits and schisms. And of dynamic chaos. Don't forget Will Roger's famous line "I don't belong to any organized party. I'm a Democrat."

Maybe instead of running from that we ought to accept that the "disarray" is just tghe flip side of Big Tent and the hurly burly that is the nature of Democracy and freedom and -- yes -- individualism.

I knda like the fact that there are so many different types of Democrats.

The Republicans are not in as much disarray, but that's because a well oiled machine is inhuman. They think like robots, they look like robots, they talk like robots and they want to turn the USA into one giant cold machine.

It's been said that trying to bring order to the Democratic Party is like herding cats....Well, I'll take a cat over a robot any day.

2. The "Democrats in Disarray" theme is a joke!
You want to see disarray? Don't look at the Democrats. Look at the White House, the GOP, and their collaborators in the media.

3. The Village of Stepford vs Mayberry
They are rigid with a soulless agenda at work.

We try to consider all our neighbors' concerns.

Great topic, Armstead.
