So, I get into my Camaro z28 and am heading off to the supermarket today. I need some things for dinner and for a class tomorrow night. Apparently someone borrowed my car because up on my radio is 790 KNST which is the AM fuck all station that has The Tonnage On Loan from G-d, Sean Insanity, Michael "Weiner Nation" Savage and Tammy "I'm a progressive reactionary" Bruce. Ugh! Well, I decide I want to hear what the other side has to say. I've just finished listening to Randi Rhodes (yeah!) and, against my better judgment, I keep KNST on and it's the Weiner Nation.

Okay! Make your comments, the man is an asshole, I know. My family refers to him as "Our Favorite Fascist!" Anyway, the cocksucker plays an ad from MoveOn.org. Now, I'm not a big fan of the ad because it's really amateurishly done, and I'm not really into the mawkishness of all the Holiday season. But after the SOB is done with playing it (he screams at his tech to take off), he rants that all of MoveOn.org should be arrested under the Alien and Sedition Act of 1798 (the fallacy of that argument is that the act expired on March 3rd, 1801, the last day of President John Adams' only term in office) and that the narrator of the ad should be arrested and tried for treason. (yawn!)

Next the asshole states that MoveOn.org's propaganda was worse than the Nazis and that's when I almost drove off the road. What is this motherfucker smoking? What is this asshole drinking? He is really losing it.

Let's examine Michael "Weiner Nation" Savage's statement?

How is Moveon.org like this? How is a Moveon.org ad wanting to save soldier from this and Iraqis from this fate or this fate anything like what this man said?

Someone needs to explain to me why advertisers still support this radio monopoly? Why are we so afraid to stand up and call what Michael Savage and Rush Limbaugh do propaganda of the worst American kind? Why are human lives so easily thrown away? Over 2300 soldiers (over 2240 Americans) have lost their lives due to a lie! Over 15000 wounded, their lives forever altered. Anywhere between 27000 and 31000 Iraqi dead. For what?

I am close to tears writing this. My country has fallen into the deepest, darkest hands since our extermination of Native Americans. We kill and kill and maim and destroy for what? So Halliburton can have skyrocketing profits? So the Big Oil can rake in big profits? Why are we fighting this war? Why are we killing off our future in Iraq? Why is it that when the fathers of this country want to kill, they send their sons and daughters over to die?

No more platitudes. No more empty rhetoric BRING HOME OUR TROOPS NOW!!! Years from now, when my children are old enough to understand politics, I know they will ask the question my I asked my parents: "Mom, Dad. . .why did we fight the Viet Nam war?" And I will give my children the same answer they gave me: "I've been asking that four 20 years, hun. I just don't know."

I'm sorry. . .I can't continue this. I am having a hard enough time writing what I am writing now. I'm sorry, but I cannot continue.

2. Savage & Rush are raking in the $ by dealing in hate

They are no different than the Bakkers or Jimmy Swaggert. They are scam artists appealing to the weak minded.

Fear and hate is what motivates the weak and Savage & Rush know it. The GOP have been taken over by these idiots and their supporters. I would truly be ashamed to call myself a Republican today.

In our hearts, most people know why we are in Iraq. It has nothing to do with getting rid of Hussein nor the liberation of oppressed people.
