"And, could Nancy Pelosi be MORE ubiquitous. She jumps in front of the camera at every opportunity." then, some more digs at her, harping on the fact that she's on the air too often

this, RIGHT after Wolf played a quote from Hastert accusing her of seriously harming the troops' morale, our position in Iraq, with her flipflopping over the Murtha delcaration, and showing her response, which involved her changing her mind due to the pResident's stupid speech yesterday

this was as appalling a personal attack as I've ever seen; totally asinine, especially when juxtaposed with the very incindiary Hastert accusation/response he played JUST before Cafferty blew off his big fat yap

She's the fricking MINORITY LEADER, you assmuncho. you do realize that it's her JOB to respond to the constant stream of LIES emanating from the other party, something she might not have to do so MUCH of if you and your ilk did an even half-assed job once in a blue moon

If she feels she's been misrepresented, she's an elective representative with constitutionally protected free political speech and should make full use of her rights. I kept my mouth shut when everyone was slamming Jon last night on Kerry but, look - there's a lot of onus on Democratic Party politicians to prove they're not deserving of the slams.

Put another way - because I would not characterize what Jon was doing anywhere near the same way - if Pelosi thinks she's being bullied, she should give the bully a bloody nose, and show she's not going to just take it. The easiest way to show you're undeserving of being slammed as a wishy-washy typical Washington politician is to demonstrate backbone.

since I'd never watched that show.

Then, a couple of weeks before it happened, Cafferty made a crack about DeLay: "Isn't he indicted yet?"

I thought, that's a funny, hip guy.

But, yesterday, his babbling about Fuckface and how well his speech at the USNA went, how he got his "fastball back," it just shocked me - especially since it was so patently untrue.

Now this - which I didn't see?

My guess is that management has its boot on the back of the guy's neck.

the point is this sort of blatantly partisan dem bashing (I know he's done some things that the pugs would consider just as nasty), especially when what she's been doing was simply performing her duties as spokesperson for the minority party, goes way past what should be considered acceptable media behavior

in the past year, under the guy who took over from Princell Hair (what's his name?), have gone down, I just read. Maybe they think they've gone too liberal, and they've sent a memo. He was railing yesterday about Ramsey Clark, and how Ramsey Clark ought to find something to do besides represent no-good scoundrels in war crimes! He invited emails. I sent this:

"Clark doesn't need a new line of work, Jack, but you do, you cheap knock-off of Bill O'Reilly. You should be glad that we still have at least one American who understands the importance of trying even despots fairly."

This was something I stated yesterday, but we in NY know who he is since his days on our local news. This is the real Jack Cafferty. He was just taking some easy shots at a failing Republican party. Now he looks to be back aboard with the Republican message.

It may have been funny to see him take some sots in line with views from the left but nevertheless he is a grumpy old angry troll.
