Anyone listening to Lionel?
Edited on Wed Nov-30-05 11:49 PM by FreedomAngel82
A guy from Iraq who lived there for a long time is on the show now talking about what it was like living under Saddam. He is saying he's a Catholic and lived in Iraq and could go to church freely all the time and Saddam was secular and women went to medical schools, universities and the Iraqi says that if you left Saddam alone he left you a lone and everyone had religious freedom and he was a secularist Muslim and could care less about religion. They're also talking about the change going on now especially dealing with women. There was no terrorism in Iraq and Saddam and BinLadin were enemies and if you wanted Saddam to get BinLadin he would. Lionel also mentioned the original reason why we went to war (wmd's) the guy laughed and said "yeah right".
