He did a very nice job. I wonder who gets to eat it. I remember reading a cute story about Barney and the chef and how he isn't allowed to have sweets but Barney would lick stuff off the floor and the chefs shoes and stuff.

13. I doubt anyone will eat it
Not if it's glued together with egg white royal icing, which is traditional. It's probably just decorative.

15. I found the text of his poem just for you
Edited on Wed Nov-30-05 07:59 PM by ohio_liberal
The following is an actual poem President Bush wrote to his wife Laura while she was visiting Europe in Oct. 2003. She shared it with the audience at a book festival in Washington.

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Oh my, lump in the bed
How I've missed you.
Roses are redder
Bluer am I
Seeing you kissed by that charming French guy.
The dogs and the cat, they missed you too
Barney's still mad you dropped him, he ate your shoe
The distance, my dear, has been such a barrier
Next time you want an adventure, just land on a carrier.

This was actually a 'joke' by Pickles at *'s expense.

Here is an exerpt of this article:
Of particular interest is the apparent aim of Mrs. Bush's hoax. Ordinarily, when a surrogate tries to pass off a fake quotation as a president's actual words, the quotation is meant to make the president sound scholarly, or witty, or lapidary. In this case, though, whatever White House staffer prepared Mrs. Bush's remarks obviously strained to make the president's purported love poem sound sufficiently moronic that no one would doubt Bush had written it.

14. Awww, now
Lots of people make decorative gingerbread houses. Granted, they aren't all four feet wide. It's a work of art. ;)
