When is Rachel Maddow going to replace Marc Maron on "Morning Sedition?"

I got an email from Air America today which implied that Rachel Maddow going to replace Marc Maron on "Morning Sedition."

Anyone know more about this, like when it would happen?

I heard her one day filling in for Randi a week after Katrina struck. She allowed a journalist from Harper's to come on the show and rant in an endless barage of Neocon talking points and "never" challenged her.She is no asset to Dems. Randi even called her on it and was furious.

22. My only complaint about Maddow.........

was that, in her effort to be complimentary to her guests, she sometimes becomes conciliatory. I have heard folks walk all over her, even when she had the facts to smack them down. Maybe punching Tucker around will make her style a little more fiery (albeit not Randi fiery).

she was talking to who was from New Orleans and placed all the blame, like all good Repukes did, on Nagin and Blanco.

I thought she wrote for Vanity Fair - dark hair, southern accent, she used to be on Hardball every so often.

She is a RW'er and I think Rachael was a bit surprised and didn't want to slam her when she was actually from NOLA.

That segment wasn't very representative of Rachel.

4. Not sure of the exact date, but Majority Report will be going away,

to be replaced by Mark Riley at 5-7AM and Rachel Maddow at 7-9AM. Marc Maron is in negotiations for his own show from Los Angeles (where he's moving), and will be still involved in some way with Riley's show.

Mark has been saying for a few days now that the last Morning Sedition show will be December 15. I wonder what they will be having as a filler until January 2? He made it sound like Maddow/Riley would start up right away after Morning Sedition was over.
