Martin's not perfect, but he's better than the alternative. I think the Liberal's actually should have replaced Martin earlier this year to try and head-off whats happening tonight.

8. The Tories aren't getting control

Even if they win a plurality of seats, who are they gonna form a coalition with? Maybe the Bloc would try to work something out, but they are a pretty darn left-wing party.

We'll likely see another Liberal minority government being propped up by the NDP. (Which is essentially what we've had for the past 18 months.) Ideally, the NDP will have more seats to give them a bigger voice, and a sufficient amount to make the sum of NDP/Liberal votes to be airtight.

As the Tories aren't getting in, Canada doesn't want to go backwards, the Tories are a disaster, like they've always been.
