Ed Schultz...just had a coronary on-air here in Austin.
Reeeeeeeeally bad. His staff couldn't get things working for some reason and he went BALLISTIC. I guess he didn't know he was on-air. Cursing like a sailor, at the top of his lungs. Damn! I agree with his politics, but I sure as hell wouldn't want to work for him!:scared:

6. I must have missed it somehow. I've been listening but I muted it
during the commercials and listened to something on TV.

I only missed a minute or so but he seems perfectly normal.

It must have been a short tirade.

14. He is normal--his temper, not so much.
It was about a 15-second tirade. I'm not upset about it...I just think it's a shame it happened on-air. Plus, like I said, I wouldn't want to work for him!

18. Damn. I hate it when I miss the unscripted stuff. I did hear the music
start playing at the wrong time during the first segment but it wasn't a big deal.

I wanted to hear Cunningham's crying statement after he plead guilty.

Now, the show isn't playing for me. Hopefully, it will come back on.

Did it go out for anyone else?

on XM you can have both Ed and Randi

Ed may not be everyones cup of tea, but he at least gets a point of view out to right wingers that they don't usually hear

in fact I have trouble with anyone who advocates the demise of another person.

I too have my views, and wishing ill on another person is neither my views or philosophy

45. After thinking about it, you are right
I wouldn't shed a tear for pat robertson or for that matter the PNAC repukes if something bad happened to them

The reason for that is because those jerks actually want to injure this country, and us

25. Was this on satellite or broadcast radio?
Most talk shows have a 7-second delay or so in case a guest pops off, and they can delete stuff like that.

On satellite I don't think it matters - - at least to the FCC.

30. Strange that it came on
at the end of the Thom Hartmann live programme on iTunes (internet) before I shifted to live Randi on Air America (RealPlayer).

I thought someone was playing around till I heard the abusive language and I recognised the voice.

Could not understand how it came through on Thom's broadcast on iTunes!

35. This is very very unfortunate
Ed is (was?) the foot-in-the-door to getting liberal talkers on AFR.

If he goes on the FCC shitlist, he can pretty much write that one off, and we're back to zero.

This was a couple of weeks back. I love Randi and listen to her everyday, but I was really surprised to hear her comment about about another AAR host. I guess this proves that she was right.

40. Two things
1. Ed Schultz is not affiliated with Air America

2. I've heard Randi Rhodes go off on her staff, too

*disclaimer* I listen to both shows when I can and like them.

41. Schultz is not affiliated with AAR. He's syndicated and some AAR
affiliate stations carry his program, but he and his program have nothing to do with AAR.

And Randi's comments are due, in part at least, to a previous experience she had with Schultz.
