The Supreme Court Crumbles
A chunk of the ledge above the words "eqaulity and justice for all" broke off and fell on the steps of the Supreme Court House. Metaphor anyone?

4. No, for real. No one was hurt during the fall - lucked out that way
but where it fell, from what part of the building is true too. Sometimes truth is funnier than fiction, eh???

5. No one was hurt
It seems really odd that a chunk of the building would just fall off, doesn't it?

11. If its irony, its painful tragic irony
Is every institution that was once a great edifice to justice
now crumbling, would that they were poets.

Stone-cutters fighting time with marble, you foredefeated
Challengers of oblivion
Eat cynical earnings, knowing rock splits, records fall down,
The square-limbed Roman letters
Scale in the thaws, wear in the rain. The poet as well
Builds his monument mockingly;
For man will be blotted out, the blithe earth die, the brave sun
Die blind and blacken to the heart:
Yet stones have stood for a thousand years, and pained thoughts found
The honey of peace in old poems.

16. Someone needs to ask Pat Robertson what this means
He says God doesn't do techtonic plates, but does he do buildings?
