Latest Scientology craziness....New Mexico news report irks faithful.....
Edited on Mon Nov-28-05 10:36 AM by grumpy old fart
T.V. station KRQE airs a report on marking and vaults in N.M....

<snip> The church tried to persuade station KRQE not to air its report last week about the aerial signposts marking a Scientology compound that includes a huge vault "built into a mountainside," the station said on its Web site. The tunnel was constructed to protect the works of L. Ron Hubbard, the late science-fiction writer who founded the church in the 1950s.

The archiving project, which the church has acknowledged, includes engraving Hubbard's writings on stainless steel tablets and encasing them in titanium capsules. It is overseen by a Scientology corporation called the Church of Spiritual Technology. Based in Los Angeles, the corporation dispatched an official named Jane McNairn and an attorney to visit the TV station in an effort to squelch the story, KRQE news director Michelle Donaldson said....

9. The parallelogram-shaped nipples are significant
I suppose it's a coincidence that alien nipples are shaped the same way?? Obviously a cosmic prick-tease, inviting the rape of our planet! :silly:

7. Consider this senario...
The nuclear war that everyone feared happens, followed by the release of biological weapons that no one dare admit exist.

Mankind is reduced to regionalized tribes. Wars break out over the natural resources left, and only but a few remain....

Years pass. Hundreds of years. The complexity of technology is lost much like the Roman's secret of concrete was lost for over 1,000 years.

One day, searching for food and shelter, a tribe uncovers the entrance to this mighty vault, one that only the Gods themselves could have built. Inside must only be the secrets of the ages - the answer to everything - life, death, everything.

Years later we see a new civilation born out of the teaching which must have surely come directly from God...

11. Loopier than a roller coaster
Dear g*d, how can anybody take these people seriously once they know what they are about?

They practically own Clearwater, near where I live, and every story you dig up about them makes things seem crazier and crazier.

:freak:

13. If only Matt Lauer, et al, would bring down the Xenu/Theta crap on these
loonies heads when they spout off like Cruise did recently, or bring up this "landing site" stuff, folks would stop treating this like some mainstream religion....
