Has your husband ever posted under your name?

At your blog, were any articles presented as "by Michelle Malkin" written entirely by your husband?

Conservative blogger Michelle Malkin avoided the question when askedabout it by Brad Krantz of WZTK-FM, calling the authorship accusation "vile," but not false.

She also avoids the question in a long post at her blog.

She writes about marriage ("I have my hubby's help for a few hours a week.") She writes about Al Franken (he has "research assistants," she irrelevantly notes.) She writes that the question is "racist."

She writes that her husband "helped me with a handful of blog posts out of the estimated 3,000 I've written since June 2004," without explaining whether "helped" means wrote in their entirety, or how many blog-articles constitute a "handful."

But she doesn't write, "None of the posts here with with 'Michelle Malkin' in the byline were written entirely by my husband."

Her evasiveness suggests she's guilty of deceiving the public. If Michelle Malkin lets someone else write entire posts under her name, then she is a fraud.

For all I know, Miz Malkin's ghostwriter is KKKarl Rove's bastard son. But when it comes to marketing this kind of crap to right wing loonies, she's down there with Anne Coulter.

Her public image may or may not be a fraud. I don't care. It's her intellectual fraud that makes me hope she gets hit by a truck. Soon.

Meanwhile, giving credence to the argument that Malkin's Caucasian husband writes her blog just gives ammo to her deluded supporters, who will accuse her detractors of being racist and sexist. There's no need to question the authorship of her blog. Her alleged writings fail monstrously on their content alone.

I have three very simple questions for Ms. Michelle Malkin. These questions have nothing to do with her gender or her race, only her journalistic integrity. I ask these questions simply because they have been raised in the media and she has yet to answer them directly.

#1. Has your husband ever posted under your name? A simple “yes” or “no”, please. No diatribes or further comments are necessary.

#2. At your blog, were any articles presented as "by Michelle Malkin" written entirely by your husband? Again, a simple “yes” or “no” only, please.

#3. If either of the above answers is “yes”, then approximately how many? A simple approximate number or percentage will suffice.

For the sake of Ms. Malkin’s reputation, please ask her to publicly respond to the above questions directly and preferably as indicated.

Michelle's husband, Jesse Malkin, first met Michelle when they were students at Oberlin College. From Goldsea's not-exactly-flattering profile:

Jesse Malkin's first assignment for his new Filipino American reporter was collaborating on an article denouncing Oberlin's affirmative action program. Fellow students found the article offensive and showed their displeasure to Malkin & Company.
