In Diehard Kentucky, President Bush Losing Support

All Things Considered, November 21, 2005 · President George W. Bush carried Kentucky twice in elections, and his approval rating remained more than 50 percent there this spring. But the last three months have been brutal for the president here as elsewhere, and sentiment has swung against him.

His approval rating here is in the low 40s.

if he were up for election in '06.

Still plenty of */Cheney and "W" stickers and just a plethora of "Support our Troops" ribbons (a good % being the "Pray for Our Troops" ribbons)
