Poll question: Who is your LEAST favorite of the dem '08 favorites?
When DUers pick their favorite possibilities for '08, these people tend to top the lists. While we can agree that they have all done good things in their political histories, who is your least favorite for the '08 nomination?

1. Hilary has been awful quiet or on the wrong side..
of the war. She is too right / leaning now. I'm assuming she thinks it is politically expedient, but she cannot out repuke the repukes.

Dean made a statement last year. We need a stronger voice from our side's "front-runner"

it would be nice to have a candidate who actually stands for things and
then does them.

I get the feeling that Hillary is sticking to the losing playbook of mouthing platitudes, then taking care of business (literally).

The republicans figured out that if you don't say anything, no one listens.

If they can get people's attention with lies and hate, a hard-hitting but honest candidate would get a reception, which is why the right feared Howard Dean so much.

13. exactly....
someone needs to take a definite stand like Murtha, and let the chips fall where they may. Political gamesmanship is not governing or leadership.

35. the sad thing is, if you stand for something, you lose some votes, but
if you stand for nothing, you lose most.

5. WTF!?!?!?! want fair elections in 08? worry about 06. GEEEZUS
cannot believe people are falling for the "easy" election to follow in 08. That's what the corporate raiders WANT you to focus on.

All the real stuff gets done by electing good guys/gals in local/state and congressioal races.

6. I'm not much in the business of gratuitously trashing Democrats.
So I'd say none are my least favorite.

Bush sucks, and ANY of the above would be preferable. Any REPUBLICAN would be my least favorite.

21. Yes, because I do not give a shit if it is kicked or not, you see?
You are the one obsessing over that. I just said it was a bit on the flamey side. Which it is. Whether or not it stays on the front page until hell freezes over I really don't give a fuck.

Half the stuff that lingers around here for eternity is flamebait. Not like I'm not used to it.

Ok, good enough, then?

and I cringe at the thought of another Kerry run.

Give me Feingold, dammit!

(I could live with any of the others-even Gore now appeals to this Nader voter)

Seems like some stereotypes are not so well deserved

It's odd how we are learning about ourselves as time goes by and people start asking questions that we never thought to ask before. Fascinating.

32. WOW!
I'm delighted to see so many votes for (against) Hillary. First I don't think she has a chance in hell of winning and I wouldn't want her anyway. It's nice to be around people that don't want her either LOL.

I think the reason we keep hearing her name is the repubs are stupid enough to think they can talk us into it. We're not.
