Map I created for 2006 House races
I used Frappr to create a map highlighting all the competitive or potentially competitive races.

Republican Robin Hayes

After promising he would oppose Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA), his flip-flop during the vote was identified as the key turning point in the agreement's passing. After citing a closed factory in his district to explain his promise to vote against it, Bloomberg news reported after the vote, “In the end a 40-minute delay in the vote was broken after the Republican leadership convinced Representative Robin Hayes of North Carolina to switch his vote to yes.”

Having taken a whopping $52,722 from Tom DeLay's Americans for a Republican Majority (ARMPAC), Hayes has voted with Tom DeLay 94% of the time, voting to gut the ethics rules, and giving money to DeLay’s legal defense fund.

Claimed that the “evidence is clear” that Iraq was involved in 9/11 as recently as June of 2005, long after even President Bush had admitted otherwise.

In 2001, Republican Party leadership pressured Hayes to change his vote on fast-track trade authority. Hayes was reduced to tears on the House floor because of the intensity of the Republican leadership pressure.

7. Excellent job.
The pop-ups are great. Melissa Hart (PA-04) could be in real trouble. She has been Rick Santorum's lackey all along, and he's going to be out of here. Hart also got some of DeLay's money.
